Introduction

NFC/IDs offer a secure means of authenticating and identifying users through company-provided NFC badges. NFC onboarding in the Oloid Platform involves assigning NFC to respective users. With Oloid’s Passwordless feature, you can log into Okta securely by scanning your NFC badge.

Pre-requisite

You should be a Tenant Admin in the Oloid Platform.

To assign NFC/ID

  1. Log in to the Oloid Platform. Log in to your account with the appropriate credentials.
  2. Locate the “Directory” section. Navigate to the “Directory” section to find various options for managing user profiles and permissions.
  3. Navigate to the “Users” menu. In the “Directory” section, select the “Users” menu.
  4. Assign “NFC ID”. In the “Users” page select the user to whom you want to assign a NFC ID. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. For a detailed guide on NFC onboarding, refer How to assign NFC/ID as credential to users.
