Introduction

Oloid DeviceLock is an Android application designed to secure mobile workforce operations through seamless identity-based authentication. It enables employees to log in to HRMS systems, and lock or unlock their device screens using a variety of physical identity factors such as Face, Badge, PIN, NFC tags, Passwords, and QR codes.

Incompatibility Warnings

Oloid DeviceLock may not function properly on devices with the following limitations:
  • Devices running Android OS version 10 or below.
  • Devices without a functional camera, NFC module, or Bluetooth.
  • Devices with heavily modified OEM firmware or lacking regular security updates.
  • Android Go edition devices with limited processing power or memory.
  • Devices without Google Mobile Services (unless sideloaded and managed via MDM).

Connectivity Requirements

  • Internet Access: Required during app registration, updates, and for syncing logs or HRMS transactions.
  • MDM Support: Recommended for app deployment for enterprises, policy enforcement, and updates.
