# How to Log in to Workforce/HRMS Platforms using Badge ID and PIN Credentials through Oloid DeviceLock app

> This document provides step by step instructions to log in to HRMS/Workforce using the DeviceLock app with Badge ID and PIN credentials.

## Introduction

The **Login with Badge and PIN** feature in the **Oloid DeviceLock App** allows users to securely access their **Workforce/HRMS platform** through a two-step authentication process. Users first tap their **Badge** on the device to verify their identity, followed by entering their **PIN** to complete the login.

## Prerequisites

* Ensure that the Android device is connected to an external card reader.
* You must have a valid Okta account.
* You must have your assigned Badge ID.
* You must have your assigned PIN.

## Steps to Log in with Badge and Pin

1. Press the **Power** button or tap the screen on your device.

   > [!NOTE]
   >
   > **Note:** The Device Lock app is displayed automatically, as it always runs in Kiosk Mode.

   The Welcome screen is displayed.
2. Tap **Login with Badge**.

   The **Scan Badge at the Reader** pop-up box is displayed.
3. Tap the Badge on the Badge Reader to scan it.

   After successful Badge authentication, the **Enter PIN** pop-up box is displayed.

Enter **Pin**.

After successful PIN authentication, you are signed in to the Okta system.
