# How to Log into Workforce/HRMS Platforms using QR Code Credential through Device Lock app

> This document describes how to log into Workforce/HRMS using QR Code through DeviceLock application.

## Introduction

The **Login with QR Code** feature in the **Oloid DeviceLock App** allows users to securely access their **Workforce/HRMS platform** by scanning a QR code linked to their **credentials**. This method provides a quick and secure way to authenticate without entering a password.

## Prerequisites

* You must have a valid Okta account.
* A valid QR code must be assigned to you.

## Steps to Log in with QR Code

1. Press the **Power** button or tap the screen on your device.

   >
   > **Note:** The Device Lock app is displayed automatically, as it always runs in Kiosk Mode.

   The Welcome screen is displayed.
2. Tap **Login with QR**.

   > [!NOTE]
   >
   > **Note:** You will only see the authentication methods (Face, Badge, PIN, QR Code and NFC/ID) enabled for you. Button names may vary based on configuration. Contact [Support](mailto:Support@oloid.ai) if no authentication method appears.

   The camera turns on.
3. Show your QR Code in front of the camera to capture the QR code.

   After successful authentication, you are signed in to the Okta system.
