## What is an offline task?

In the context of Time and Attendance, **Offline Task** is a cron job that runs every 30 mins. This task is designed to process any failed transaction records from the Oloid Database to the target integration.

## What does it do?

The **Offline Task** picks up the transaction records with status as “**Error**”, ”**Pending**”, “**Failed**”, and “**None**” from the Oloid Database and tries to process them to the target Integration system.

This cron job runs every 30 mins and picks transaction records for the last 24 hours.

The task is set to retry each error record for a maximum of 10 times before it marks the record with status = “FAILED”.

The offline task needs to be deployed for each tenant on a request basis. It is not a default configuration.
